Gear adds attack, HP, skill damage, and crit stats outside roguelike runs. Slots attach to heroes — refine gear on units you keep long term like Cole or Mir, not temporary placeholders.
Farm gear after core roles exist. Premature farming spreads enhancement mats too thin. See dungeon guide and Survival Road.
Refinement priority
Carry weapons first if timers fail; armor first if base chip kills runs. Skill damage stats amplify roguelike picks from the skills guide.
